Description
Connecticut Farmland Trust is a statewide non-profit organization established in 2002 to permanently protect Connecticut’s working farmland. We purchase and accept donations of agricultural conservation easements. As of 6/06, we have protected 10 active farms, totaling more than 755 acres. We work with farm owners who are interested in voluntarily protecting their land and assist them in developing a conservation plan that is appropriate for their family’s needs, interests, and farm. This service is provided at no charge.
